Yes, it's totally a thing! If you have been bored like we have during this self-isolation period, you have been mindlessly scrolling through your instagram feed for hours. In between all of the virtual yoga videos and DJ sessions, we became enthralled with this new trend - Whipped Coffee. As natural coffee enthusiasts, we couldn't wait to try it! What is it exactly? Think of a Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino, in a light and airy texture served over cold ice, with your favorite milk combination. Here's a quick recipe. Thank us later!

Food nourishes the soul. So it's not a surprise that while being stuck at home, many of us are snacking much more than usual. Do you find yourself taking frequent trips to the pantry? Opening it just to see what's in there? Us too! Now, while food does comfort us, it's also important to think about the nutrients we are putting into our body. It's all about having a good balance. Here are a few of our favorite quarantine snacks (healthy and not-so-healthy sweet treats). Comment below with some of your favorites!

In October of last year, I celebrated my 3rd 10th birthday. As a new member of the 30 and over club, I realized it was time to really start taking care of my skin. For me, this meant removing makeup before going to bed, getting enough sleep, and drinking water.

It wasn't until this March that I realized that some of the skincare I was using on a consistent basis, I had been purchasing for over 10 years. Now, you may be familiar with the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". But for me, it just wasn't working anymore. With changes in hormones, lifestyle, and environment, it was time for a chance. J...

This is going to be a really great year” These were the words of a Refinery29 meme I reposted on January 1st, 2020. Often, the start of a new year brings hope to many of us; hopes of a fresh start and new beginnings. A way for us to wash away the past. I was one of them. But just a few months into 2020 and all over the world, we are all wondering wtf? So far, we have unexpectedly lost one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Kobe Bryant.  A worldwide pandemic has forced social isolation, and the stock market is crashing, fast. But seriously, what the fuck is going on? Just a few months in a...

Three nights in Los Angeles and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Not sure if it's the legal marijuana shops that will literally deliver directly to your location or the fried chicken and greens at Comfort LA (and now that i think about it, the combination of both) but Los Angeles has definitely made it to my list of top 3 favorite cities in the US. We jam-packed so much into such a short time, so here is just a small glimpse of my travels.

Perch LA, a quaint rooftop bar and restaurant with live music and mouthwatering dishes.  Once you finish your meal, head to the 16th floor f...

Where's your happy place?  I spent much of my college years in miami, and it wasn't long before the city became my 2nd home.  Natural sunlight, street art, beach vibes, eclectic fashion, and good food......What's there not to love?

In 2018, I challenge you to focus on what makes you happy. Life is short. Cherish every moment.  Spend it with those you love and eliminate toxic relationships. Read more, travel more, laugh more, dance more.  I could run off a list of "to-dos", but ultimately, it's up to you to find your happiness and inner peace.  Are you living or are you existing?

Do you ever look at a piece of art and somehow it is so perfectly connected to you? As if it connects with you and where you are right at that moment?  It explains all of your heartache and pain, your happiness and laughter, your tears, emotions that you can't even explain.  It might even represent a transitional period in your life.  To others, it's just a blob of ink, and somehow for you, it resonates with your soul.  Well, that's what art is.  That's what it does. Art beautifully connects unknown souls to something much deeper.

One of my favorite art installations was do...

Neutral palettes with pops of color, dark grays, matte black finishes. gunmetal, stainless steel, white lacquered accents, recycled vases, and sculpted design - These are a few of my favorite things

Purposely unpainted walls, ceiling pipes on display, construction measurements still written?  We call it 'industrial'; Also known as the  'ripped jeans' of architecture.

It's all about "edge". The idea is that everything doesn't have to match.  Think of it as the perfectly imperfect.  It's a work of art in itself ,and that's the beauty o...

What is Mod Culture? Google describes it as a culture that began in UK's fashion capital, London, in the late 50s.  Mod, short for "modernism" is still trending today.  To me, the culture embodies style, free-flowing spirit, an artistic wave of fashion, and nonetheless, an attitude.   With a nation divided by views of the white house, it is important that we are not subdued by society.  In short, millenials today are standing strong for what we believe in.  This transcends into clothing; from statement jewelry pieces, to platform wedges, to faux fur, geometric designs, and the concept continues.  Vinta...

From brands including Lanvin, Marchesa, and Self-Portrait, lace is back on the forefront this summer!  While lace is often thought of as delicate and romantic, guipure is innovative with a twist.  Not your grandmother's lace -- this fabric encompasses an architectural design.  Think soft, while still cutting edge.  This fabric  is stylishly paired with leather for retro vibes!  Alternatively, get ready for Sunday brunch by matching this look with a classic pointed toe pump & matte red lipstick.
