What is Mod Culture? Google describes it as a culture that began in UK's fashion capital, London, in the late 50s. Mod, short for "modernism" is still trending today. To me, the culture embodies style, free-flowing spirit, an artistic wave of fashion, and nonetheless, an attitude. With a nation divided by views of the white house, it is important that we are not subdued by society. In short, millenials today are standing strong for what we believe in. This transcends into clothing; from statement jewelry pieces, to platform wedges, to faux fur, geometric designs, and the concept continues. Vintage handbags, leather mules and soft lace are making an appearance this season.
